Rare Lancia Beta Sedan in need of minor restoration completion. I am the second owner of the vehicle and bought it back in 1987 from an 81 year old man who had it garaged as I have for 18 of the 24+ years that I have owned it. Don't even think I put 1000 miles on the car since I've owned it. I have been restoring it for a long time but cannot seem to complete it. It has 40975 miles original. Needs paint, windshield, alternator and battery. Interior is not terrible and body is decent with a need for some paint and minor body work. I have everything that was taken off the car for the restoration which is mainly the trim pieces and some marker lenses etc... I have all receipts from its inception with original invoice. Many new parts installed over the years with some performance parts. I also have shop manuals and the original owners manuals and brochures. I would love to see the car completed. Car is very solid and runs and drives well and is a 5 speed. The car is no rust bucket! There is rust around the windshield which I repaired years ago with bondo and some by the front passenger undercarriage but anything else on the body is surface. Has been off the road since 1994 or so but is started frequently and even driven around my neighborhood occasionally. I have the title and is clear. Feel free to ask questions. On Jan-02-12 at 16:56:14 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention, all rotors and pads have been replaced. Water pump was done. The car has Koni struts all around. Ansa exhaust added a while back. Brake balancing compensator replaced. Couple of the brake lines were replaced with stainless lines as were caliper hoses. Replaced timing belt years ago. I have the original radio that is not installed in the car now. I have some spare used parts that I will include with the auction. I do have some other new and used parts as well that are not included in the auction. If the winning bidder is interested in them I will offer them up for a good deal otherwise I'll just list them separately. I do not have the steel wheels that came originally with the car as I got rid of them years ago, regrettably. The wheels on there now came off a Beta Coupe.
