Up for sale is a beautiful example of a classic BMW. The Bavaria was considered the pinnacle of luxury, style and performance of its day and was the favorite car of Jackie Kennedy. If you are considering a BMW 2002, think about its 4 door big brother. Details: This is a very good car throughout. Body/ Paint/ Interior - I had the body repainted so the car looks great, unfortunately there are a few scuffs and some rust has come out, mainly above the front headlights. - The car comes with Two sets of wheels/ tires, it is pictured with its stock wheels on. - The interior is nearly perfect with the exception of one rip in the drivers seat which runs with one of the seams. About 6 inches long-- perhaps could be repaired, but a new seat cover might be best. - New tail light cover, "Bavaria" script, BMW logo, Mirrors (driver side and rare passenger side), Passenger side visor - The tool kit is about half complete - New windshield Mechanical - The engine in this car is fantastic. Silky smooth at any speed and powerful! - New radiator-- NO overheating - New fan, fan clutch and fan belts - New water pump - New front struts with Bilstien cartridges - In fact the front end was completely rebuilt complete with bushings, control arms, sway bar links, and strut mounts - New clutch slave cylinder Electrical - All electronics work with the exception of rear window defrost. Even the clock works. Try to find a Bavaria with a working clock! - New ignition switch - Pioneer speakers Issues with the car: - Paint is very good, but not perfect - There are a few rust bubbles beginning to appear, mostly just above the headlights - The previously mentioned tear in the drivers seat - The tires on the aluminum rims need to be replaced As usual, this car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will assist with shipping including delivering the car to a cargo terminal up to 30 miles from its current location.
