A True Southern Special This auction is for a 1984 Chevy K-10 stepside pickup truck. I've owned this truck for about five years now and over the past year and a half the ignition has been broken, so I haven't been able to do anything with it. I bought it for $1700 and put $2500 worth of work into it (working over the axles/new carb/wheel bearings/etc.) I used it as a hunting/recreation vehicle when I did get a chance to drive it. It was purchased as-is with a rebuilt 350 motor. Because it hasn't been cranked/ran in over a year (the ignition broke and the steering column needs to be replaced because of this) I'm also selling it as-is (for parts). The engine had maybe 20 hours on it before I broke the gears in the ignition. It has the three speed on the floor with granny gear low transmission. It has true dual exhaust and it has full 4x4 drive with shift lever that did work last time I drove it. The body is in poor shape as far as paint goes (see the pictures) and does have some rust spots. It has a relatively new Edelbrock 600cfm carb on it that should still be good. It is lifted eight inches and has 33 inch mud tires on it. The wheel bearings AND both axles were overhauled when I bought the truck. I do NOT have the title, just the bill of sale when I bought it.
