Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a 1989 Porsche 911 C4 Coupe. It is black in color with tan leather. This car is very sound and although not perfect it is a very nice driver. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, power windows, power locks, cruise, am-fm c.d., power driver seat, power passenger seat, power sunroof, foglights, alloy wheels, rear defroster, all wheel drive and much more. The car has had great care and has been stored inside for most if not all its life. The interior is not faded from the sun. It has the original leather seating and original carpeting. The interior is in excellent shape. You will find the carpet very nice and is not matted down due to age. There are no cracks in the dash. The only place in need of repair is on the driver bolster from getting in and out of the car. It is very small (approx. 1 inche) and I will probably have it repaired before the auction is over. The clutch is very solid and feels like it has lots of life left. It engages about 2-3 inches off the floor. The foglights work perfect as does all the other lighting. The stereo has been replaced with an aftermarket and was tastefully installed. The power windows work as they should as well as the power mirrors. The AWD switch functions just like it should and engages the system smoothly. The rear wing spoiler automatically raises at speed and goes back down as you come to a stop just like it did when it was new. The alloy wheels are very nice and none have been curbed as you can see in the pictures. The tires are also in great shape and only have approximately 5-7000 miles on them. I would say they have 75% life left. The brakes are awesome and stop the car well and have a great feel. The engine is very solid and purrs like a tamed lion. It has no mechanical problems at all. I see no evidence of the normal oil leaks people always talk about. This car is a blast to drive and will please anyone. The paint is in great shape. It has a few small imperfections but you have to really look for them. There is one small one at the back of the drip rail on driver side approx 1/2 inch long and has been touched up. The paint needs a good buff for it has some light scuffs but nothing that wont come out. It has no dents at all. You will not find any rust on the car at all. There is a small place on top of roof that has an area approx 2 inch in diameter that has 7-8 very small bubbles but has not broken the surface (have to really look to see it). There are only 4 things I can think of that the car needs. (1) The rear light cover above the rear bumper is cracked and busted (see in pics). My understanding is that cost about $300 to replace. (2) The air conditionng belt is missing and I am told the compressor needs replaced. It was estimated to me to cost $7-800 depending on who you have do repair. (3) The trunk release cable apparently stretched or a small coupler broke and now I cant release the trunk (bonnet). I dont know for sure but I would guess $150-175 to fix that.(4) It needs a good detail guy to put a nice buff and polish on it. I am not a Porsche expert but I know a good car and this one is as solid as they come. I think spending $1,000-$1,200 on this car and you will have a very, very nice automobile. I have tried to be very objective and forward on this description. Please know that this is a nice car dont let my description detour you I just want to be accurate. I know there are people that know a lot more than I about this car. I dont need someone calling me trying to show me how much you know. I am happy to answer any of your questions to the best of my ability. I have this car priced very cheap for a car of this caliber. I have taken into account the things it needs. If I were to take the time and money I would be asking much more. I dont have either to give. My phone number is 479-841-6718. I am needing a quick sale on this so I have chosen a short auction time. I am looking for full payment within 48 hours of auction end. I will try to help accomodate shipping all I can. It is yours to pay but I can store for a short period and help any way I can. Please verify information and condition of this car. I have been very accurate but I want you to be happy with the car. Thanks for your time.
