Vehicle Detail

CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. This is a truly a fantastic opportunity to own an original American historical automobile. Up for sale and your bidding is a low mileage 44685 original miles, RUST FREE 1935 Chevrolet Standard 2-door sedan with the original 206 cubic inch, 74 horsepower engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Followers of stock car racing will remember the '35 Chevy as a popular choice for the sportsman and modified drivers in the early days, making this car in this condition a rare find. This is a turn key car ready to be enjoyed and driven immediately. It fires right up, runs drives and stops great ! It is in very presentable condition, but not show quality. The summary of this vehicles condition is based completely upon physical examination and servicing, as it is impossible to track down all previous owners of a 77 year old car. This car appears to be a combination of nice original and some previously restored areas. The original mileage on the factory odometer is also reflected on the title. The BODY IS ALL GM STEEL with no evidence of any major bondo rust repair or dents. It has had a repaint from black to green and is still shiny, but does have some paint scratches and touch-ups here and there. The door lock works with the original key which is the same as the ignition. The car seems to be 100% complete right down to the original spare tire cover with locking hubcap with key. Windows appear to be all original with the exception of the windshield. Windows are showing some age with safety ply discoloration around edges, but they roll up and down fine. The vent windows crank in and out with ease. Both of the rear quarter windows have cracks. The bumpers are straight, and appear to have been replated, however the front has experienced some peeling of the chrome plating. The top insert and running boards look original. The interior appears to be all original except for a new front mat with jute backing. Seats, door panels, and headliner are all presentable. Driver's seat has one hole on right side which is only visible when passenger seat is raised to access battery or gain entry to back seat. Dash is nice and original with wood insert around gauges. All the gauges are in working order. Inside window frames have same wood design as the dash. Interior, dash, stop, tail, parking, and headlights all work. Windshield wiper tries to work but may need a new vacuum hose. The underside of the car shows evidence of some possible restoration as frame and all mechanical components are painted and operational. The underside wood is all in excellent condition. The mechanical brakes and emergency brake work fine. Grease fittings on king pins, steering box, linkage, and spring shackles all accepted grease. The car has just been tuned up with all new ignition parts. The carburetor still has the original rebuild tag on it. The wheels are 17" artillery style 5-lug with 4 1/2" bolt pattern allowing the possibility of many wheel choices. The tires have great tread on them and show no signs of dry rot. The car is priced with a reasonable reserve and buy it now so even a real car guy can buy this one and enjoy it ! Please look at all the photos. I even had this car put on a lift to photo the undercarriage to show the quality, integrity, and condition of this car. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact Jeff at 570 977 0741. Please check my 100% positive feedback and buy with confidence. Feel free to ask any and all questions on the car. I have in my possession a clean title for this car showing actual mileage. Accepted forms of payment are as follows: funds in hand always works. A bank wire transfer is also acceptable. A bank cashier's check is also acceptable however the car and title will not be released until the check completely clears the account and funds are made available in hand. Paypal is also acceptable for the whole purchase however the buyer will have to be willing to incur any related funds transfer fees. Shipping is the financial responsibility of the buyer. I will be happy to recommend some shippers that I have previously used. I will also be happy to reasonably assist in the appointment set-up and pick-up and loading of the car. A local pick-up of the car by the buyer is always encouraged as well. This car is sold in as-is condition with no actual or implied warranty. I have accurately and honestly described this car to the best of my knowledge. Again any questions don't hesitate to contact Jeff at 570 977 0741. Thanks and good luck.
