Vehicle Detail

Holy Cow!! This is a time warp old custom built approx 20 years ago from a clean california car. Custom paint, interior and everything chromed, this rig was over the top back in its day. Car still looks good as a nice driver but does show its age. Here is a bit of what it has going on-Custom paint and body with shaved door handles, frenched antenna, molded seams etc. The paint is a candy teal over a colored metalflake with multi colored pearl scallops, scales and graphics all over it ghost style. None of the graphics show up in pics and are very suble in person, but the car is covered with them. Kool. Kustom interior still in pretty nice shape but the white carpet has stains etc. Pretty much everything that could be unbolted on the car has been chromed, I mean everything-the axle, driveshaft, front frame etc. All of the chrome shows age with pitting and peeling, probably not the best chrome job. Front frame and suspension looks to be a Heidts unit with coil overs and rack & pinion steering, all chromed. Subframe connectors(chrome), original camaro 12 bolt posi axle with 3.73 gears. Original steel GM cowl hood. Turbo 350 trans with manual valve body-no drive just 1,2 and 3. Car has Boyds wheels and steering column and steering wheel. Car is pretty strong and rippin fast for a small block. Engine sounds Badass. It has been sitting for 4 years or so untill I brought it back to life, it could still use a little TLC before you hit the road with it-rear tyres are weather cracked/aged, carb could be tuned, runs rich and loads up a bit. Needs power steering sorted out- car appears to have had a supercharger on it at one time(boost controller and boost guage inside) and the power steering belt looks like it ran over the missing supercharger pulley. Still drives fine wth Armstrong steering. The story is this-the car is supposed to be an original SS or Z28 model. However there is no documentation. It does have all the right parts and bits but has been pretty modified so tough to tell. The cowl tag give the correct body type for a Z28 or Super Sport car, it was built at Norco but no X codes. The engine has the correct casting number for a Z or SS, the VIN of the block appears to be original to this car but is faint because it has been decked. The engine model stamping is not visible because of deck milling. Perhaps some acid will bring it out but maybe not. So consider it a regular 69 Camaro unless you are better at figuring it out than I am, which wouldnt take much as I am no camaro expert. I cant possibly list everything here so I am sure there will be questions. Feel free to email or call 619-507-3160 Lee.
