This is a 1985 CHEVROLET CORVETTE with the 5.7 liter (350 cubic inch) V8 engine. It has 84,248 miles.It rides and drives great with a strong engine and 5 speed manual transmission. This sports car has been well taken care of, is clean, and in great mechanical condition. I would feel comfortable driving this coupe anywhere today.This car take off like a striped-ass ape, shifts smoothly, is dangerously fast, mechanically sound, tight feeling, stable, tracks straight, and all-around drives like a dream. Nothing needs to be done mechanically, but, the lights and windshield wipers are not working. They just quit working and I am not going to take it to a mechanic and have them fixed. I have not even looked into the problem and it could be as simple as a blown fuse or something more complicated, I have no idea and am not going to spend money on repairs; I am selling as-is. The body and paint are in pretty good condition. The interior is clean and in good condition with very few signs of wear except a little wear on the driver's seat. It has 4 wheel anti-lock brakes, 5 speed transmission, air conditioning, am/fm stereo with cassette, leather electric seats, cruise control, automatic overdrive in high gear, electronic digital dash, all gauges are electronic and all are working perfectly, everything works perfectly except the lights and wipers. Many used Corvettes of this age are in horrible condition because they have been driven very hard or raced too much; not this one, it's in genuinely very good unrestored used condition. It has very low miles for it's age (just over 3,000 per year) and has obviously been well cared for. There is NO RESERVE in this auction. I am located in Kansas City, Missouri. I would be happy to pick the high bidder up at the Kansas City airport if you fly here to pickup the car. I expect a $1,000 down payment within 7 days of the end of the auction and the entire vehicle must be paid for and picked up within 14 days after the auction ends unless we mutually agree to other plans. I will NOT be accepting paypal. You will need to send a check or cashier's check or bring cash or cashier's check with you in person. Personal checks will need to clear before delivery of the vehicle. I am a licensed and bonded Missouri car dealer and can also work with your bank, credit union, or finance company where you have been pre-approved for a loan. You will be 100% satisfied with this car at the time of your picking it up or I will not ask you to buy it and I will refund your money.
