This is a 1980 Saab 99 that is in very good condition. It is a car that was featured in Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car as a Drivable Dream. I really do enjoy this car. The car is in original condition, is very driveable, smooth, powerful, and unaltered. It has a 4 speed manual transmission, and is factory equipped with fuel injection. It has new tires in 2011, the passanger and driver seat bottom rebuilt as the canvas and rubber bottom beneath the seats began to tear. The original Saab rubber floor mats are included, they say Saab. The car has not been restored, and as best we can determine is in original condition with no known mechanical faults. It does not appear to have been in an accident. It has factory Saab wheels which are near perfect. The car does have some signs of its age, is not NEW or PERFECT, but really nicely PRESERVED. As with any car this age there are always things that can be done to improve its condition. There is a Massachusetts odometer sticker on the driver door jamb that shows the odometer was replaced. With the mileage on the sticker and on the current odometer the mileage adds up to about 82,000 to 88,000 miles, if I recall correctly. A detailed photo of the sticker is in the article. There is a Babson College parking sticker on the driverside rear window, a college in Eastern MA. It could have been a college professors car, the condition looks too good to have been an undergrads car, at least had it been mine as an undergrad. It does cost a fair amount of money to list the car and a winning bid commits me to pay the listing and paypal fee. SO PLEASE REALLY WANT TO BUY THE CAR. There are many, many, spare parts that have been collected over the years that come with the car. As a short list; two spare windshields, oil and air filters, multiple brand new exhaust systems (you will never need...), new gas shocks, spare injector parts, the list goes on and on. I think there is a new axle, plugs, dash parts, all kinds of new rubber suspension parts, this will give you a good idea of some of the parts included. Good luck!
