2003 Z06 Corvette - 50th Anniversary You're looking at a Beautiful 50th Aniversary Corvette Z06. It is in great condition and a real joy to drive! I bought the car after it had been wrecked, the guy drove it under a "barb-wire" fence. No wonder, the rear tires were nearly slick when I got it. My son and I repaired the damage and then had it painted by a local hot-rod restoration shop. It was a fun father-son project. We've driven it about a thousand miles since completing the work and it's real nice. The father-son reapir work included replacing the the following with OEM recycled parts: front bumper cover, horn, passenger headlight assembly, hood, and front passenger fender. New parts included: full set of emblems, stainless steel bumper cover intake screens, replacement windshield and brass gears in both headlight assemblies (the nylon ones were "clicking"). The surface of the rest of the car had "scratch" marks from the "barb-wire" that was professionally repaired by the paint shop. There was no frame damage, airbags did not deploy, and the drive train was unharmed. All in all it was cosmetic damage but expensive enough for the insurance company to brand the title. After the repairs were complete, Va. DMV branded the title as "Repaired" (not "Rebuilt"). While we had it torn down, I put new set of OEM Goodyear Eagle F-1 tires on the Z06 Chrome rims. The paint job is spectacular, we even had the shop paint the edges and interior of the replacement panels, no expense was spared in the repair work done. Everything's OEM stock to the maximum extent possible, except for the black racing stripe that my son wanted to add. Base coat - Clear coat Torch Red! Everthing works as it should and the fuel economy is surprisingly good. The engine starts quickly, tansmission shifts out well, brakes are tight, all electronics are operating fine, A/C climate control functions great, Bose sound system is great. Two keys, one remote. Complete OEM owner's manual set. Interior leather is nice and the Z06 red inlays are an awesome touch to the black interior. Oh yeah, the HUD is fully functional and great for allowing you to keep you eyes on the road where they belong with 405 horesepower. Please remember it's a used car and is being sold without a warranty of any kind. It's sold "AS IS" If you don't have the money to follow thru with the purchase, please don't bid, it's not fair to other ebayers. I encourage you to line up your money and get permission from your significant other if it's needed before bidding. I will be glad to assist loading car for shipping. Buyer pays all shipping costs. Car doesn't leave until paid in full and all funds have cleared my bank. Mileage may vary slightly as the car is driven.
