Up for sale is a beautiful 1993 BMW R100GSPD Paris Dakar replica. I have the original purchase agreement from 1993 for $8,500 and a comprehensive service history for the last 30k miles. This bike is in awesome original condition with the original paint, graffics, seat cover, BMW panniers and mounting kit, low fender, high fender, solo saddle, Corbin two-up saddle, factory windshield, high windshield, etc. The top end was rebuilt at 49K, it has a new clutch, an upgraded electrical system that ups the output from 280 watts to 400 watts, newer Avon Distancia tires, a rebuildable Fox remote reservoir rear shock, fresh fork seals with Progressive springs, new steering head bearings, new drive shaft, new heated grips, etc. All of the lights, brakelights, horn, turnsignals, dashlights, etc are fully functional and the bike just passed the State of Utah's rigorous safety inspection. This bike starts right up, hot or cold, idles perfectly, and runs and rides like new. I have most of the receipts for the work done on the bikeby the prior owner totaling approx. $4,800, along with the factory owners manual, 1993 BMW parts catalog, Fox shock service manual, etc. This bike needs nothing and is ready to ride anywhere. I am the third owner and this has always been a local bike. The condition, both cosmetic and mechanically, is better than most GSPD with 30K original miles or less. This second owner was an officer in the local BMW club and worked at the local independent BMW shop. The bike has a clear Utah title with new plates and tags.
