CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Up for sale is a 1942 Cadillac Series 62 four door sedan. This is the very last pre-war WWII Cadillac built. It is unmolested and original. It runs and yard drives however it has no brakes. It has the original 346 c.i. Flathead V8 engine and three speed on the column manual transmission. The body is solid, the frame is solid and the floors are solid. This is not a show queen as evident by the pictures. And I priced it realistically due to that fact. It is priced to sell. This is a great candidate for a restoration. It is also a rare car and carries a market value. The drivetrain with the exception of the missing air cleaner is 100% original and complete. The motor fires right up and runs. It holds oil fine and coolant just fine as well. It shifts right into gear and clutch works fine as well. Again there is no brakes so I consider it a yard driver. It can be a great parts vehicle or rat rod, however it would be a very nice restored vintage cadillac. The following items are missing on the car; the parking lights, the tail lights, the fender skirts, the air cleaner, the hubcaps, the radio grille, and the left rear window. I have in my possession a 1959 New York transferrable registration for this car that can be used to obtain the title in the buyers respective state. Please look at the photos of the car.
