Highest bidder wins.This is a one owner collectible 1980 Mercedes 450 SL convertible that was bought brand new at the House of Imports of California in early 1980.This is a fully documented car with original registrations from 1980 to present.The car has every booklets which include the maintenance records,owner's service and warranty policy,emission sysyems and maintenance California version,owner's manual,and the original personal data plate that has the original owner's name engraved.The title is still in the original owner's name and matching each and every booklet and record for the car.The car still has the original licence plates from 1980 which will be given to the new owner.The car was kept in superior condition and driven very sparringly.The car has only 68K plus actual miles.Extremely well preserved and kept in totally original shape with no alterations except an upgraded radio/stereo package.The paint is still factory original and was produced with a super rare dove gray color exterior.I have never seen this color on any other 450 convertibles and looks super sharp and is definitely one of a kind show stopper.No rust issues anywhere.Paint is still like new and has no evidence of any kind of sun damage or wear marks.I can't even find a ding on the car.Always passed California smog and runs and drives very well.No leakages or funny noises coming from any area of the car.Car was well serviced and could be used as a great Sunday driver.Beautifully detailed original gray interior.It was ordered with the leather option.Perfect leather seats.The whole interior is immaculate.The car does have the original black soft top.It is in like new condition.It was very rarely used with no wear patterns or damage.Hard top is as nice as the rest of the car.The car comes with the original first aid kit,spare tire,jack and tools.Extremely fine condition everywhere,and the best thing is its still untouched so you can see how well maintained the car was kept in for all the many years in use.Great Christmas gift for someone special.
