Vehicle Detail
FOR SALE TODAY; 1969 CAMARO (YENKO TRIBUTE CLONE 396 BIG BLOCK) 2 DOOR COUPE. I have owned this car for several years in my collection and planned on completely redoing the car and it has just sat in the corner of my garage and I haven't had the time to do anything, but start it up occasionally and warm it up, to keep the motor free. The way you see the car is the way I bought it. I am downsizing my entire car collection since my wife passed away. This car hasn't been on the road in years and is probably NOT road worthy, so plan on trailering it home or having it shipped. It will start up and lot drive though,I don't recommend trying to drive it home. The data plate says as follows; ST 69 12437, NOR 1431 33 BDY 693 PNT, TR 727 10D. If you have any questions about the car, just send me an E-mail and I will try and answer them, but as you see the car is the way I bought it. It is a (date close ) 396 motor, numbers 70920EK and a Turbo 400 Trans, but short of that I don't know much about the internal specs or what gear ratio is in the rearend. I am selling the car AS-IS-AS SHOWN, with NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR GIVEN as to physical or mechanical condition. The car does run and has no known knocks or noises and the transmission and rear end are in good working order is about all I can say. The body in very decent condition,no apparent rust issues, but as always everybodys opinion is different, so come look at the car at my home in Janesville, WIsconsin and make your own conclusion. I understand that most Camaros are ,when extremely nice, worth loads of money, and Im not trying to paint a perfect picture here, plan on doing a complete restoration, when bidding. I,m confident that if you completely take this car apart that there will be rust issues that I haven;t seen. I don't know what condition the floor pans are underneath the carpet, the trunk pan looks pretty good to me. I have know idea if there is or is not any putty in any of the sheetmetal, so don't bid assuming thatthe car it all metal, I don't know!!!! This car is titled to my business therefore, if you live in Illinois you will be required to pay Illinois State Sales Tax and Illinois Title and registration Fee, along with a Doc Fee which will be added to the final price. If you live anywhere else you will only pay a Doc Fee and pay for a Driveaway permit if you desire one. No shipping will be included in the purchase price and shipping or pickup will be the winning bidders responsibility completely. I do require a $500.00 deposit immediaely and the end of the auction, via Pay-pal or Credit Card. The car must be paid in full within 7 business days of winning the bid,(NO EXCEPTIONS). IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS ON HAND TO BUY THIS CAR PLEASE DON'T BID ON IT!!!!! I can store the car for up to 60 days (@NO CHARGE)after winning the bid if the car is paid for in full to allow you to arrange for shipment to your location, If you have a E-bay transaction feedback score of less than (5) please e-mail me first, before you bid or your bid may be cancelled. I do reserve the right to cancel any or all bids and sell the car locally as the car is posted for sale at my car lot. The asking price at the lot is $20,000.00 The reserve price on E-bay is lower than that, however, as no trades would be involved on E-bay. AGAIN ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE E-MAIL ME "FIRST" BEFORE YOU BID. All bids will be considered FINAL. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
