Scamsters & charlatans need not apply. Payment in FULL due within 72 hours of auction end via certified check or cash. I have 100% positive feedback so please bid with confidence. I will disclose everything about this car to the best of my knowledge. I am happy to assist with shipping, but shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. I bought this car on eBay in the spring of 2011. It was in pretty rough shape. Since then, it has had a LOT of mechanical work done and is now very reliable and runs great. My intention was to "restore" it to as good a condition as possible, but I now need to abandon this project. A complete list of The Good & The Bad follows below. THE GOOD: Drives great All wheel drive works fine Crack free dashboard Interior is extremely clean (no odd odors or stains) Carpet is in good shape Headliner has no rips, tears, or sags, but it is a little dirty Power windows and sunroof work fine Onboard trip computer works fine - avg MPG, avg speed, temp, etc. This was a big deal in 1988. I had the following installed since Spring 2011: ASA AR1 16" wheels with BMW centercap decals (includes spare) 205/50ZR16 Continental ExtremeContact DWS Tires (includes spare) H&R Sport Springs B&M Short Shift Kit BMW ZHP Style Shift knob BMW EVO3 Steering Wheel New leather shift and e-brake boots BMW All-Weather Mats (from our old E92) PIAA Bulbs New fog lights New tail lights New front bumper trim New wiper arms New grill New hood cowl grills New hood & trunk BMW roundels Pioneer MVH-P8300BT (Bluetooth, ipod/iphone capable) Morel Maximo Component Speakers (front & rear) Alpine Amplifier Fixed mast antenna (original retractable was broken) Rear deck professionally recovered in black New Bosch battery New trunk gasket New leather shift and emergency brake boots Upgraded emergency brake handle from a 7 series Turner Motorsports Engine Chip (Original chip also included in sale) New jack The following work was performed in Spring 2011 by an independent BMW specialty repair shop: Re-sealed front cover, camshaft seal, crankshaft seal, timing cover gasket, timing belt kit, water pump, cam guide-o-ring, air mass boot, drive belts Replaced valve cover gasket, breather hose, rocker shaft plug, spark plugs, idle control valve hose Replaced oil pressure switch Replaced blower motor/resistor Replaced Glove box latch Replaced SI board and gear Replaced suspension components - front & rear H&R Sport Springs, front struts, rear shocks and rear mounts. Replaced power steering fluid components - return hose, suction hose, fluid Front differential seal - removed front differential and replaced o-ring on oil pan side and output shaft seal on drivers side and re-sealed cover. re-filled 75/90 synthetic. Replaced transfer case seal for front driveshaft - selector rod joint, selector shaft seal, output shaft seal & installed B&M short shift kit Replaced left front inner/outer cv boot Replaced emergency brake components - cable, brake shoes, hardware kit Replaced fuel filter Replaced ABS speed sensor Re-sealed leaking oil pan A/C charged in summer 2011 Other parts included, but not installed: New Oxygen Sensor New door gaskets Replacement leather panels for drivers seat. Rear bumper trim Front lower spoiler vent Lower dash trim Bentley E30 repair manual Remaining supply of Leatherique leather cleaner Original emergency brake boot Original Engine Chip THE BAD: Drivers seat leather is in bad shape. I have procured replacement leather for the damaged sections, but have not had an opportunity to put them on. The rest of the leather is in good shape for a car of this age and has no other rips, tears, or significant cracks. The oxygen sensor needs to be replaced. I have the replacement oxygen sensor but couldn't get the old one off. I haven't had time to get to the shop to have this done. The dash bulb for the left turn indicator is blown. The turn indicator works fine, just a bulb out on the dash. The passenger side front fender has a dent in it. I tried to pull it out with a $7 suction cup from an auto parts store but had no luck. Odometer. The prior owner listed the vehicle for sale as having 151k miles. When I received the title in the mail, the title read 154k miles. Car was registered and titled at 154k miles. Later that week when I went to pick up the car, the odometer was not working and was at 153k miles. I had the odometer fixed and the odometer now reads 154k miles. I put very few miles on this car. The paint is pretty dull. RUST. The car has undercarriage rust damage. This is predominately located in the trunk area and specifically located in the rear drivers wheel well and on/behind the rear valence. There is also some rust damage on the underside of the door sills. The car also has minor surface area rust in various spots; these appear to be superficial. I know of no other rust damage on the vehicle; I have not inspected it while up on a lift. The vehicle is 23 years old and has spent its entire life (to my knowledge) in NY, NJ, & CT. The prior owner did not disclose all of these rust points in his eBay advertisement when I purchased the vehicle; I want you to be better informed.
