This is an exceptional 46 Ford Coupe. It is an all original all steel body with a 1996 Crown Victoria chassis and running gear. The Crown vic had 85600 miles on it.This 46 came from Montana in 1995 in original condition. It was then frame off restored before not being used for several years.Previous owner wanted something that could be driven across country that is when 96 chassis was installed.This was built as a driver and is not mirror finished on undersside of car, in fact the bottoms of floorboards are factory sealed and in great shape.In considering a driver I built this car to be as mechanic friendly as a ford can be:).The 4.6 ohc engine is about 3 times more powerful than the original flathead engine was, and the overdrive trans is a nice feature as well.It has 4 wheel power disc brakes(factory on the crown vic) .a/c is was new in jan 2011.The paint is House of colors candy apple red with silver base ( minor chips and blemishes-shows very well!!)wheels and tires are factory mustang aluminum wheels 18 inch. Car is ready to show and go today. Car is for sale locally so i must reserve the right to end auction early for local sale.This car is a head turner and a real pleasure to drive.
