Vehicle Detail
I bought this bike last year from the original owner. It starts on first kick and runs great. I had a complete tune up, new plugs, oil, timing and carb sync done. - New Firestone Champion Deluxe Vintage Tires- New rear shocks- Kerker 4-1 pipes- SuperTrapp exhaust- new clip-on bars- custom seat from RocCity- custom paint by Royal Essex- new grips- new headlight bracket- yellow tinted headlight lens- custom tail light from Benji's Cafe Racers- replacement speedometer from Dime City Cycles (still in box) Electric start is not hooked up right now. The pictures are professional pictures and the bike has been garaged but I do want to mention that there is some surface rust on the inside front of the headers and on some of the bolts. The outdoor pictures were taken a couple days ago and you can see the surface rust on the headers. The mileage is about 30,000 but I had the original speedometer removed. All work was done by the award winning cafe racer garage MotoHangar in Vienna, VA. Here's a video of it starting and running: Feel free to ask any questions! I LOVE this bike, am proud of it and am reluctant to sell it but these are tough times. If you are local I'm happy to show it to you but not without cash or cashier's check in hand. Thanks for looking! On Dec-21-11 at 06:20:26 PST, seller added the following information: I want to answer a few questions people have been asking: - i am selling the bike because i have a family and can use the money- the pictures with the white background were taken last night- the outdoor pictures were taken last thursday- if you look at the white picture from the front perspective you can see the rust under the triple tree- on the others you can see the rust on the pipes. it's surface rust- the paint job is a pro job done by royalessex.com - he does bikes and helmets for major clients- the paint job does have some nicks here and there and underneath the clear coat on the raw metal there are places where it looks like moisture has gotten in and it is slightly orange- the bike is extremely reliable- i'd say overall the bike is a 7/10 cosmetically and 9/10 mechanically- i believe the electric starter needs a new solenoid- there is seepage due to the age of the bike but no oil leaks- it is not burning oil- compression is good let me know if you have any other questions!
