This is a 1991 YJ Jeep Wrangler. It has the bullet proof 4.0 inline 6 cylinder with a 5 speed transmission. It has lower mileage then what alot of Jeeps this age you might see out there (124k miles). I am selling this Jeep simply due certain changes as of late which are forcing me to sell this. This Jeep does run. I had been driving it for about a year or so until I parked it due to safety concerns. The main issues as far as driving it is one of the front calipers would lock up from time to time. The other is skid plate is virtually rusted away. This forces the transmission at a step angle and causes the shifter to pop out of gear if you hit a bump. Out side of that the body has lots of rust. Mainly on the floor pans which is common. So I bought a tub of another early YJ to swap it with. The other tub I bought is in very good shape. The floor pans are solid. The only rust on it is on the drivers side where the seat belt / roll bar meet the floor. This is very fixable and doesn't affect any structural support of the tub. I also have a CJ tail gate and TJ front axles. The interior of the jeep is actually in pretty good shape. The front seats have a few rips in this but the back seat is very nice. The hard top is in good shape and all the glass is very good too. The doors are also in very good shape and don't really have any rust to them. So whats the plus about this Jeep versus others??? This is a lower mileage jeep. Yes the body on it needs replaced but as far as the drive line is concerned, you have a great start. You already are getting a new tub in this auction to replace the old one. No hunting and searching for a replacement. This Jeep HAS a title. Yes if you want to make this into a trailer queen that doesn't make much difference but if you are like most, you will be driving this. This is a cheap entry Jeep so you can play hard with it. If you are like me, I always wonder if the vehicles I see on Ebay can be driven away... This answer to that about this Jeep is- NO. I wouldn't suggest it because it has been sitting for several months (since July time frame) and safety concerns with the front brakes and transmission. This Jeep does run! As far as picking this up. I can offer myself to help you load it on a trailer, tow, etc. As far as the tub, I can only offer myself to help load. Three of us loaded and unloaded it from a pickup truck so keep that in mind when you come pick it up. At the moment there isn't an issue with how soon you have to have it picked up by. However for legal / Ebay purposes I will say that it must be picked up within 30 days of the end of auction. Longer time might be able to be arranged but don't assume this. Payment. I expect payment to be received within 10 days and a deposit to be made with in 24 hours that is non refundable. Paypal or cash on pickup is the only method of payment I will take.
