I am a Pennsylvania used car dealer and I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. The vehicles I sell on eBay are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the York, PA area. I get these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced, detailed, or prettied up for retail sale. In order for me to offer them to you on no-reserve auction pricing, I cannot restore them to retail quality. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. Please understand that these are used vehicles, they WILL have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage. Please read the full description. Up for No Reserve Auction is a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula. This Firebird is equipped with the 5.7L 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 and automatic transmission. The LT1 V8 fires up easily and idles well with no smoke or questionable noises. The 350 cubic inch engine provides almost 300 horsepower. The automatic transmission, limited slip rear end, and traction control deliver that power to the ground without excessive wheelspin. The engine cruises effortlessly and the transmission shifts as it should. The antilock brakes stop the car firmly. The sports car suspension is firm, but not uncomfortable and gives good road feel and cornering. The Firebird Formula package does not have the gaudy plastic cladding, hood scoop, or big wing of the Trans Am and, in my opinion, the smoother look is more appealing. This Formula is painted metallic green with above average paint. There are no dents or major scratches aside from the small blemishes that accumulate from age and driving. The windshield has a crack in the upper passenger side corner, it is not particularly noticeable from inside the car, but may affect inspection. (I am not an inspection mechanic. I do not know the rules for every state, and I cannot tell you if this will pass.) The alloy wheels are in good condition and have all four matching center caps. They do have some minor discoloration and peeling of the clear coat. The Falken ZIEX ZE912 tires have more than 50% tread left. The interior is trimmed out in tan cloth and is in average condition for age and mileage. Unlike Firebird leather seats, there are no rips or tears. The cushions of the driver's seat are worn as is common for Firebirds. The other seats are in good condition, also not ripped or stained. The back of the rear seat where the carpet joins the seat fabric is torn. The tan carpet is in average condition. The headliner has had some repair between the T-Tops. This Firebird has power mirrors, power locks with remote entry (however, the battery is dead in the remote), and power windows. The window motors have just been replaced. The factory AM/FM cassette stereo works properly and sounds good. There is a Pioneer CD-Changer and Kenwood amplifier mounted in the trunk. The T-Tops fit well and do not appear to leak. It is not often you find a good condition, low mileage Firebird with the LT1 engine anymore and this one runs great.
