Up for auction here w/no reserve is my 2000 Chevy K3500 LS 4X4 (auto locking hubs) Extended Cab & Chassis Truck, 6.5 turbo diesel, auto-trans w/O/D, dual rear wheels (DRW), ABS, DRL, A/C, cruise, tilt, AM/FM cassette w/4 speakers, pintle hitch w/2” ball and mars/strobe light. It was my personal work truck for the last 5 years and I am the second owner. It was a municipal vehicle before I got it so I can tell you the maintenance on it has been very good. I’m a mechanic by trade and that is what I used the truck for up until recently. It has very low miles compared to the national average at about only 1200 miles per year. It has not had any major problem, most recent repairs have been the alternator and shocks replaced approx. 4 years ago, A/C compressor 3 years ago, brakes done 2 years ago, belt tensioner arm/pulley a year ago and the belt this year. Other upgrades I have done are Firestone Ride Rite air bags #RR2025 w/Gabriel coil-over rear shocks, LUND windshield visor, LUND bug shield, AVS window visors front & rear, aluminum diamond tread running boards & mud-flaps, Western custom saddle seat covers, Chevy Bowtie floor mats & steering wheel cover, triple gauge pillar pod (boost, EGT, & trans temp), FSD Cooler #65TD, K&N air filter #E-1796, B&M Shift+ #70380 electronic shift improver (3 stage shift on the fly), BD Performance Diesel 4” Aluminized Cat-back Exhaust Kit #1046510 w/3” down pipe, cat delete pipe & 5” chrome tip, sounds awesome (and runs awesome too). And now for the not so good, there is no back bench seat it was removed before I got it and had a book type shelf installed which was fine for me, I carried a lot of parts manuals, scissor jack was/is missing from jack box, blower fan just recently only works on high, horn don’t work, cracked right (PS) spotter mirror I put a new round stick-on one over it, cracked front windshield , and last but not least the oil cooler lines are starting to seep as well as the rear diff pinion seal which are minor and they are the only leaks noticeable. I add this just to be totally up front as I would like to be done for me, I also have purchased and will include with the truck new cooler lines, new pinion seal, new stock Donaldson air filter for those who don’t like K&N and last but not the very least is a adjustable electronic boost controller that just plugs into the harness which I only removed for those who don’t appreciate extra boost so you can choose stock or performance. One more thing I almost forgot is the tires, they are Firestone Transforce A/T, 225/75/16R, the front are 50% or better and the rear outers are less than 50% and the rear inners are about shot due to tire rotation front to back and the truck does have a spare. This would be a perfect candidate for a snowplow truck just add a plow, flat bed or salt spreader or a flatbed with a fifth wheel, the mirrors are extendable from 6” to 10”. Or a utility box or even just another truck bed there is plenty of them around and cheap. Feel free to ask me any question you may have. The truck is easily worth almost double the starting price.
