This a a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7 Litre. Automatic transmission, A/C, front disc brakes. 43,000 ORIGINAL miles!! Just look closely at the odometer and the faded oil change stickers in the door jambs. Emberglow exterior and interior. The 66 was the only year that Ford labeled these cars a "7 Litre" This is a genuine "survivor". I bought this car almost 3 years ago from the original owner's family with the full intention of doing a complete restoration. It came from ALABAMA and spent its entire life there. Virtually rust free!! Frame, Floor board, Trunk pan in very good condition Paint obviously faded and I can't really tell if the whole car has been painted but I can see some spot repairs The original owner was an OTR truck driver so he rarely drove the car. I have never found one of these cars in the condition this one is. It has ALL the parts, trim, emblems hub caps and EVERYTHING.This is a great car. As you can see from the pictures it shows its age. What can you expect for being 45 years old It is a great candidate for complete restoration or just drive it. It runs and drives fine. Needs almost nothing to be a great summer driver!
