The vehicles I sell on eBay are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the York, PA area. I get these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced, detailed, or prettied up for retail sale. In order for me to offer them to you on no-reserve auction pricing, I cannot restore them to retail quality. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. Please understand that these are used vehicles, they WILL have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage. Please read the full description. Up for No Reserve Auction is a 1997 Saturn SL2 sedan with the 1.9L 4 cylinder DOHC engine and automatic transmission. The engine runs well. It has recently had a head gasket and timing service done. At that time the oil and antifreeze was changed as well as the plugs and wires. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes stop strong and the suspension does not pull, shake, or knock. This SL2 is equipped with the exterior appearance package: pinstripes, spoiler, and alloy wheels. The exterior of the car is in average condition and painted a nice dark green with tan pinstripes. The paint has lots of small blemishes that I think could be cleared up with some buffing compound. There is an odd blemish on the driver's door that looks like the plastic body panel was heat damaged (see pic). The glass and lights have no cracks or breaks that I can see. The matching set of 15" two tone alloy wheels with center caps are in above average shape and have very minimal curb rash. The wheels are wrapped in Firestone Champion HR tires size 185/65R15 with very deep aggressive tread. The interior is well kept, considering age and mileage. The two tone cloth seats are in above average condition. There are no rips or tears in any of the seats, only minor staining. The carpets have less than the expected staining and have a set of original floor mats. The headliner has minor bubbling, but has not come loose at the rear window or frayed (see pic). This SL2 is well optioned inside. It has the power windows, locks, and mirror. The power windows are slow, but all function and seal tightly. The AM/FM cassette stereo functions and the speakers sound mediocre. The heat and A/C work as the should. This car is equipped with cruise control.
