Vehicle Detail
2006 Dodge Mega Cab 2500 Laramie Loaded 4x4 with the 5.9 Cummins. Leather, switch-button 4wd. Truck stands up and looks good, has a few dents on the passenger side that are pictured with only one that would require repair and it is below the body line on the right rear door, so only the bottom portion of the door would even need to be touched. The rest of the truck is straight and only calls for a waxing and shining. Does have some rock chips from pea gravel roads. Tires are still really good tread and even. Now for the reason I'd call it a mechanic special, the truck had the filter come apart and the owner didn't notice. Motor got dusted to the point that it has very considerable blowby. Truck fires right up smooth as can be and will run as long as you ask it to to check it out, but will smoke once warm and would not be driveable in its current condition. However, injectors, everything else seems to be in working order so some one with the mechanical ability could rebuild and have an essentially new motor (or a high-horsepower built one for that matter) and still have less money in it than these trucks are bringing at dealer auctions with the same miles and unknown condition. Truck actually belongs to a business partner of mine, but I will answer any and all questions I am capable of answering (Adam 501-467-0893).On Dec-09-11 at 16:16:32 PST, seller added the following information: I've pointed this out to anyone who I've spoken to on the phone, sorry but had to unexpectedly head out of town for a few days and just got back. The tires on this truck are not as good as I first thought, the fronts are pretty good, the back left has about 30%, the back right not that much. The other thing is that the driver's seat does have a spot on the seam where it is seperated. I've had a lot of calls and interest. For anyone else with any questions, I will be posting some pictures of the motor and of the model# etc on the motor in the morning in the daylight. Thanks to everyone and good luck.
