This is a 1978 beetle fuel injected I'am selling for my uncle. It was a supper beetle until the motor was changed.It has been in storage for 20yrs. It came from Arizona.2006 car was removed from storage engine blew new engine installed.Less than 2000 mi on engine.Car was put back in storage.I got it out in sept 2011,drained gas got it running.run two tanks of gas though it seems to be ok.The car does need some TLC. Needs,muffler,maybe a tuneup.Things I noticed were dash is cracked,engine wiring is cracked,speedo does'nt work,paint bubbleing on rear valance under engine hood,crome has some pitting,needs a new top. The paint is still very nice overall,no rust,very clean car. Would not take to much to make a verry nice classic,tires still look like new.Just needs a good cleanup.A $500.00 deposit due within 24 hrs of auctions end by paypal.Sold as is no warr.Cash on pickup.This car can be driven.
