Up for auction is a beautiful 1978 Honda CR125M DG Performance Replica Vintage AHRMA Motocrosser. This bike is in mint condition and runs as good as it looks. It has over $8K invested in the cosmetic and mechanical restoration and this bike is better than new in so many ways. It comes with a freshly rebuilt motor that has been propertly broken it. It fires right up and runs fantastic. This is the fastest air-cooled 125 that I have every ridden and it truly rivals a modern two stroke in acceleration. It has the highly sought after DG gold anodized sunburst head, a new rod, piston, bearings, and seals through out. The cylinder is ported and polished. It just flat rips! The rear suspension has a high dollar DG gold anodized swing arm and Works Performance shocks. The front end is rebuilt with new seals, wipers, and springs. The lower fork legs are powder coated red as it the frame. The tank is a Clark CR replica. The hubs, brakes, tranny, clutch, controls, levers, etc. are like new. The rear fender, front fender, front number plate and rear side panels are like new. Every nut and bolt has been gone over with a fine tooth comb. The seat is a custom build on a standard pan. The handlbars are gold anodized ProTaper Fatty bars with new Renthal grisp and the pegs are modern, wide, and stable. The carb is a Mikuni. Graphics are new. This bike needs absolutely nothing and is ready to race the expert class competitively, play ride or show. The DG parts are almost unobtainable anymore. They are very trick, very expensive, and incredibly nice looking. I almost forgot but is has a new Pro-Form pipe and silencer. That is the best pipe money can buy for these Hondas and there is a long wait to get one. This machine is so light! It is very agile and handles extremely well.
