I am selling my pride and joy because where I live now, there is no use having it around. I have had the car for a little over a year and it was only summer driven in its lifetime. THE FIRST 5 PICTURES are from the spring - 2011. ALL OTHERS are how it is TODAY. There are NO DENTS at all, and only minor scratches which will come out with a detailing job. The drivers side headlight does have a crack in it, however, this can be repaired using a headlight cover and it does not affect the function of the headlight at all. It has approx. 56348 KMS (AS OF DEC 3, 2011) on it, and has been modified since some of these pictures were taken (lowered, better wheels, headlight tint removed - pictures included - THIS CAR HAS 18 INCH TURBO WHEELS AND K-SPORT COIL OVERS - I want to make it very clear that this car handles better than ANY stock 996 I have been in - save for the GT3. ) The car has had an interesting history, and was owned by 3 people. It was in an accident a few years ago, and both airbags were deployed, hence the rebuilt title. The insurance company also recorded the mileage incorrectly when they took over the vehicle, and this was corrected after the fact. Car was inspected after it was repaired, and was certified in Ontario with no problems at all. Only Porsche parts were used in the repair. It is the nicest Porsche 996 I have seen for the year. It is an absolute joy to drive, but where I am now (In northern Quebec) - I will not get much use out of it at all. Currently the car has 18" turbo wheels with new rear rubber, and has been lowered 1.5" with a K-Sport coil over kit (more pictures to follow) Also - car is equipped with IED headlights and LED taillights. The car had a professional wheel alignment by GARBIS racing in Montreal - THIS WAS DUE TO ADDING THE KSPORT COIL OVER SYSTEM.. It does not have the typical 996 under steer, and handles like an absolute dream. Very aggressive and responsive. It has never had any mechanical problems since I have owned it and does not have any oil leaks. Currently it is located in Baie Comeau, Quebec, but is still plated in Ontario. For Ontario residents, it has passed its emissions tests with flying colours, and will certify easily. I have set the starting price at 15,000 USD, and has no reserve. Buyer is expected to pay for all shipping costs, and the car is sold as-is. I will, however, tow the car to Montreal or Quebec city to assist with shipping (once the car is paid for) - however, you will have to cover the costs of the trailer rental and fuel for my truck to bring it there. I reserve the right to end the action at any time, HOWEVER, once a bid has been placed on the vehicle, I will let the auction run it's course and the highest bidder wins OR SOMEONE USES THE BUY IT NOW. Buyer responsible for all mechanical and or emission inspections in their respective location. UPDATE -DEC 6 - THERE HAVE BEEN ALLOT OF INTEREST IN THIS VEHICLE AND MANY PEOPLE ASKING ABOUT PICKING UP THE CAR IN PERSON OR MEETING ME AND PAYING ME IN CASH. I AM NOT WILLING TO TAKE CASH IN PERSON (TOO RISKY DUE TO COUNTERFEIT CASH), IF PAYMENT IS TO BE BY CERTIFIED CHECK OR BANK DRAFT, THIS NEEDS TO BE CLEARED BY MY BANK BEFORE THE CAR WILL BE RELEASED (THIS TAKES A FEW MINUTES, AS THEY CALL THE OTHER BANK TO VERIFY). PAYPAL WOULD BE PREFERABLE. IF THE CAR IS PICKED UP IN PERSON - YOU WILL HAVE TO ARRANGE INSURANCE AND SOME TYPE OF TRANSIT OR PLATES, OR TRAILER. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ARRANGE TRANSIT OR PLATES HERE IN QUEBEC, AS THE CAR IS PLATED IN ONTARIO AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE A TRANSIT FOR AN ONTARIO VEHICLE IN QUEBEC. ALSO - AS THE AUCTION STATES, PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE AMOUNT IN FULL, I AM NOT WILLING TO NEGOTIATE AFTER THE FACT, AS SOME PEOPLE HAVE A TENDENCY TO DO. MANY PEOPLE HAVE ASKED IF I WILL LET MY PLATES DEPART WITH THE VEHICLE, AND I AM SORRY, THE ANSWER IS NO. THIS VEHICLE ALSO HAS SUMMER TIRES ON IT - AND AS CAN BEEN SEEN IN THE PHOTOS - IT IS WINTER HERE, SO IF YOU DECIDE TO DRIVE IT, I ADVISE EXTREME CAUTION. GETTING STUCK IN A SURPRISE SNOW-STORM WOULD NOT BE FUN.
