Vehicle Detail

For some people a 2012 Boss 302 is a dream car. One of the cars that is awesome, fast, and good looking right off the assembly line. Then there are those awesome cars that start out really cool from the factory and then get a little extra love and attention to turn them into something more. The 2012 Boss 302 you are looking at there is the car with a little something more. Actually this car has a lot more than a "little extra" under the hood. This was the first 2012 Boss 302 to be fitted with a Kenne Bell supercharger in the country. You don't have to wonder if this car was done right, this was such a special project to make a car that was already fast even faster that the guys at Evolution Tuning did all the wrenching and then Mustang tuning legend Jon Lund actually took time out of his schedule to fly down and tune the car personally. That means you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that this car is tuned right. Lund and the guys at Evo didn't fear that the Boss 302 wouldn't take the boost, the car rolled off the assembly line with completely forged internals and Ford went so far as to port and polish the heads at the factory too. The Boss is ready for boost. The Boss 302 has a forged crank, forged pistons, and forged connecting rods. Lund tuned the Kenne Bell Mammoth 2.8 liter supercharger to 18.5 psi boost on C-16 race fuel and the car put down numbers that will make many GT500 owners blush. At that 18.5 psi the car put down 783 WHP and 623 WTQ. Lund figures if we tweaked the fuel system (it's 100% stock now with eh addition of a KB Boost-a-Pump) there is more than 800WHP to be had out of the Boss 302. Since I spend most of my time on the street, I also had Lund whip up a "street" turn that I could run on 93 pump fuel. The street tune is no slouch putting down 630WHP at 11psi. The street tune gives the car a true Jekyll and Hyde personality. You can lug the car around town, stay out of the boost and drive your kids to school or go to the grocery store. When you feel the need plant your foot, hold on because the car will fly. You can see the entire story of the build of this car "Kenne Boss" in the October 2011 issue of 5.0 Magazine. http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/m5lp_1110_twin_screw_supercharger_install_kenne_boss/viewall.html Other than the blower under the hood, the car is otherwise stock with exception of a Magnaflow offroad x pipe and Corsa Extreme axle back exhaust. It has a 6-speed transmission, Recaro seats, and Torsen differential. It also has factory AC, power windows and locks, a CD player and this car has a backseat unlike the Laguna Seca version so you can tell the significant other than you can in fact fit pals or kids in the car. Ford also fitted the car with sticky Pirelli rubber on 19-inch wheels and fully adjustable suspension all the way around. You will get the factory parts with the sale I fyou should ever decide you go back to factory stock. The car is a very low number Boss 302, 0127 out of an estimated 4000 cars to be built. I took delivery of this car on 3/16 and was one of the very first retail deliveries in the country! Ford will confirm this fact after the entire run of 2012 302's are built. This car is ready for a new home. If you have ever went to a car show or read a Mustang magazine and thought it would be awesome to own a car that has been featured, this is your chance. There were no short cuts taken in the build of this car and you will be the only Boss 302 around that has had the sort of attention heaped on it as this car did. Bid and purchase a little bit of history, you won't regret it. All original parts are included with the auction and I mean EVERYTHING! I also have the FRPP brake duct kit that will be included that has NOT been installed on the car All documentation from delivery, all seat plastic covers, an extra Window sticker (never installed), Boss Car Cover, etc included The ONLY negative is that the rear tires are at 4/32's" and need to replaced soon. Please do not bid unless you want to be the next owner of this awesome car! And the reserve will not be disclosed so bid away!!! Please call Andy @ 727-510-2393 with any questions Trades considered would be a Mustang Fox Body Notchback/or LX manual with no rust in great shape, or youth atv 70-110 cc race quad, plus cash This is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time-Thank you! Seller makes no warranty express or implied. Vehicle Inspections welcomed, please email to make an appointment. Vehicle may be eligible for some portion the the factory warranty see a Ford dealer for details Vehicle was driven over the weekend and was shown locally mileage is now approx 2930 and subject to change as I will be showing the car again tomorrow morning (11/29) Thanks AndyOn Dec-03-11 at 21:58:33 PST, seller added the following information: If buy it now is used I will include a BRAND NEW set of factory sized drag radials!
