Up for auction is a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 5.2L V8, automatic transmission, and full time four wheel drive. The 5.2L V8 runs smoothly, has good oil pressure, and plenty of power. It does have some belt noise and will take a moment to turn over after sitting overnight. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the Quarda-Trac full time four wheel drive operates with no trouble and does not bind or hop while driving. The steering is good for a Jeep, no excessive play, pulling, or rattles. The brakes stop as they should. The smokey grey paint is in average condition overall for age and mileage. There are small rock chips in the hood paint, a dent on the passenger fender, and the radio antenna is missing. The glass is in good condition all over, not broken or cracked. The matching set of alloy wheels are slightly oxidated, otherwise in good condition and have matching center caps. The BFGoodrich LongTrail 225/70R16 tires have deep tread. The black leather interior is in above average condition. The leather seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The drivers seat is heated and it gets very nice and warm! The black carpet is in good condition, with only the expected wear on the drivers floor. The headliner has a minor bit of sag by the drivers door. The floormat set has deep rubber mats, perfect for keeping mud or snow off the carpets. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work as the should. The power sunroof works properly and seals tight. The Infinity CD stereo does not come on, it does not appear to have power. This Jeep has the temp, compass, fuel consumption, and distance to empty multi-function display mounted above the rear view mirror. The climate control works as it should.
