So sorry for the bidders and the hundreds of watches! ebay pulled this because I did not know the rules about paypal. So here she is again. This is one of those bikes that I said I would never sell, but here it is. It is a very rare super light weight 500cc side valve sloper with the pine cone cooling towers. You will certainly be the only kid on your block with one of these! It is amazing to me the detail that the brits put into bikes especially this, at the height of the depression. This bike is very complete as you can see. Main parts missing are pipe, foot brake lever, small stuff and some fasteners, I have collected some of the parts needed: new piston, new clutch parts, inner primary (the one on the bike has been cutaway), primary band/gasket, muffler, tank badges that need to be de-winged (no wings until 36) and the other parts seen. Currently, there is no piston installed, I check the rod bearing years ago and remember it being good although this bike would probably be best for full resto. I had a fab guy make my up all new spindles for the forks an they are installed (not plated), has a new H52 headlight (nice repro). Very interesting levers with spark and choke under are correct but missing proper pivot bolts. Original MT110 tail light but it is kind of beat. Tool box is repro and is not mounted. Center tank strip is not mounted. New tires. Sheet metal is in very good condition. Great part is all the fender chrome trim is there (where would you ever find that!). A couple more interesting features the front brake lever is meant to operate front and rear, and the engine has a half compression lever, both similar to Rudge. Please feel free to ask questions.
