Vehicle Detail

Up for auction today is a 1970 Suzuki T500 in an aftermarket blue color that I've had many years of great riding experiences on! This bike has been stored safely in a garage for the last few years now, so some elbow grease would be needed to get it back into tip top shape. Here is a list of some of the highlights I've had with the bike and its parts.. - brand new front and rear tires - super clean gas tank / no rust - all lights / horn / turn signals work - clutch and gear box in working ready to go shape - great with no tears re-upholstered seat I had purchased this bike from an owner in the state of Indiana who had it in storage for over 22 years, after which I've had it for the past 7, in which I've had it on the road the last 5 for fun and recrecreation (less than 500 miles a year)! I had purchased a new ride and decided to put this away, so here are some of the issues... - at some point during the bike's life, someone did re-paint it the blue color it is now. It's not the greatest of paint jobs, but could easily be re-done or restored. - at this point it would probably need an upper rebuild as late in my enjoyment of the bike, it started smoking just a bit, so i think it may be in need of an upper rebuild at some point - bike will start after a few kicks, but probably is in need of a new battery - also just a few dings and scratches as it was by no means a "show" bike...it was used for fun and relaxation...but could easily be polished and cleaned up a bit to bring it up to show room condition for sure. - also a few small dings at the front of the front fender, and a couple small 1/2" dings on the tank...again should be easy repairs. Vintage bikes like this really do turn heads when you take them down to the local bike nite! Trust me it's a blast to show up on something with some REAL muscle compared to the rest of the newer bikes out there! Check it out and throw a bid in..you wont be disapointed! An overall rating for this 40+ year old bike would be a good solid B+ At this point, I will not be offering any sort of international shipping, or any shipping for that matter. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for local pickup of the bike. I will not crate the bike for you. However I can store the bike for an agreed upon ammount of time upon successful winning and down payment recieved on the bike. This is a TRUE AUCTION. I've been as thoroughly honest with each detail i can think to bring to the table. Please do not bid if you have reservations or concerns, talk to me first. Also if you have 0 to low or negative feedback, also contact me first to express your interest otherwise I'll remove your bid.On Dec-03-11 at 14:58:33 PST, seller added the following information:*** NOTE *** There was a small mistake and the actual milage is 29,867 not 23,000.
