Vehicle Detail

For sale: Adult owned 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 dually, 4 x 4 Laramie Edition with 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel and automatic transmission (see below, upgraded transmission). The truck has 82,000 miles and is in great condition. I have a clean, lien free Florida title in hand. This truck is washed at least every two weeks and is waxed quarterly. The paint is in great shape. Everything on the truck works. I believe Dodge calls this a quad cab. It has 4 full doors that open outward, but the cab is not extended. E-bay did not have a way to list this, but I believe that is what it is. I have had 7 people in this truck before. This is a no reserve auction so the high bidder wins. Truck has the following cool stuff: Bully Dog PMT (performance management tool), allowing you to change the truck's power level on the fly, and monitor lots of different engine and transmission functions. I paid $1400 for this installed. The truck has a ridiculous amount of power with the Bully Dog turned all the way up, or you can set it on tow for great towing power. It has other settings as well, or you can set the power back to stock. Custom built virtually indestructible transmission built by Goerend, Inc. You can go to the Goerend website to see what they do with Dodge transmissions. I have virtually everything they make; the triple disk torque converter, billet shafts, shift kits, etc. The shift is not harsh at all, it just makes for a great transmission. I have $7,000 in the transmission alone (I have the receipt). I have towed 23,000 pounds through the mountains with this transmission. I believe the transmission also has a lifetime warranty. Truck has all new Michelin Tires (as in 300 miles ago) - $1600. Truck has two new batteries (as in last week) - $300. Factory installed receiver trailer hitch Hide-a-ball gooseneck trailer hitch - $600 Upgraded helper springs for heavy towing - $450 Running boards Roof-mounted Clarion DVD player so kids can watch movies in the back. And, it has all the other good stuff: Power windows, power locks, power driver seat, power heated towing mirrors, and a bunch of other stuff that I am forgetting. In short, this is a clean, well cared for, powerful truck for everyday driving or heavy towing. I installed a rather ugly secondary fuel tank in the bed of the truck so I had longer range when towing. I show the tank in the picture. The regular truck diesel tank is 33 gallons, and if you tow long distances, that is not enough. I have 77 gallons of additional capacity in the back, so I can go over 1200 miles towing my 28 foot enclosed car trailer, or over 2000 miles unloaded without stopping for fuel. This secondary tank can be taken out in under 5 minutes (I will do it if you like) if you do not want it, or you can just reinstall it whenever you need to go long distances. The tank system alone cost me $1400. I also have a $1,300 painted to match hard bed cover that I can put on if you do not want the fuel tank. The truck has a factory bed liner, and I have a custom rubber mat that goes on top of that. This is a really excellent truck to do about whatever you need a truck to do. I just bought a mammoth Ford F650 SuperCrewszer to haul with, and I do not need two trucks, so I am selling this one. The truck is for sale locally so I may end the auction early. Like most used vehicles, the truck is being sold as-is, with no warranty, express or implied, including those for merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The only accepted payments are cash, wire transfer or cashier check. All funds are subject to verification and the truck does not leave until the funds clear. A $1,000.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end, balance payable within 3 days of auction end. Please ask any questions before you bid and have the funding ready. Zero or negative feedback bidders must contact me before bidding or I will cancel the bid. The truck is located in Bradenton, Florida for inspection (about 45 minutes South of Tampa, hour and a half North of Fort Myers) before the auction ends. There is no inspection period after the auction ends, however, so if you are the high bidder, you own the truck, so please inspect and bid accordingly. If you have any questions, please ask me through e-bay.
