Up for auction is a 2000 Nissan Maxima equpied with the 3.0L V6 and 5-speed manual transmission. The Nissan aluminum V6 fires right up and idles smooth. With 192 hp and the 5-speed manual transmission, this car has enough power to be fun, while still maintaining good gas mileage. The manual transmission shift smoothly with no clutch issues. The suspension has no pull, rattle, or bumps and handles spirited driving well. The ABS brakes stop strong. The exterior of this car is in average condition for the age and mileage. The black paint does not have any large blemishes, only the usual nicks and small scratches aquired from age and use. The only noticable dent is a minor one on the lower section of the passenger side front door. All the glass and lights are in good order. The alloy wheels are in above average, but not perfect, condition. All four center caps are present. The Hankook Optimo tires have deep tread. The interior of this car is in average condition. The grey cloth seats are in above average condition with no tears or burns. The headliner does not sag. The grey carpet does not have major stains or worn spots. The only thing keeping this interior from being above average is the dashboard plastics. The plastic that surrounds the radio, shifter, and other parts of the dash are discolored and scratched. This Maxima is nicely equipped. The power windows, mirrors, and locks all work properly. The factory AM/FM cassette stereo has good sound quality. The heater and A/C work well to keep you warm when you want to be and cold when you don't. This Maxima has current PA safety and emmissions sticker good through 8-12. The Nissan Maxima and it's 3.0L V6 have consistantly been rated highly by the likes of Ward's, Car and Driver, and Motor Trend. This is a very well built car and it is known to last.
