I am a Pennsylvania used car dealer and I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. The vehicles I sell on eBay are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the York, PA area. I get these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced, detailed, or prettied up for retail sale. In order for me to offer them to you on no-reserve auction pricing, I do not spend the money to restore them to retail quality. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. Please understand that these are used vehicles, they WILL have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage. Please read the full description. An appointment MUST be made before coming to look at the vehicle Up for auction is a 2001 Saturn SC1 3 door coupe. The Saturn SC coupe has an innovative 3rd door on the driver side. This small, reverse facing door opens when the main door is open to allow easy access to the rear seat area for passengers and cargo. This Saturn comes equipped with the fuel efficient 1.9L 4 cylinder SOHC engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Mechanically this car is in very good condition for the mileage. The engine starts up easily and drives well. The 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly and it has a good clutch, no slipping or chatter. The suspension is in good order and the steering is responsive. There is no pulling, shaking, or clunking from the front end. The brakes stop well with no issues. The exterior is painted a bright blue. The paint is in above average condition. The only damage of note, aside from the usual imperfections from age and usage, is a small dent and crack in the rear bumper (see pics). This car does not have a passenger side mirror. All of the glass and lighting is in good condition, no cracks or chips. The steel wheels are in good condition with 4 matching hubcaps. All four 185/65R14 tires appear to have 85% or more tread. The interior is gray cloth in above average condition for the age and mileage. The seats do not show any stains, rips, or burns. The driver's seat does have wear and tear on the lower seat bolster (see pics). The carpets are in very good condition. There is minor discoloration of the carpet below the pedels, but less than is common. Like most Saturns, the headliner has started to fray at the seam by the back window. This car is equipped with a factory power sunroof that works properly. The stereo is an aftermarket Pioneer CD player with auxilary input jack (to play an MP3 player or similar) and the sound quaility is good. The heat and A/C both function properly. This car has PA state safety and emissions inspection stickers good through 5-12. Saturns are reliable, easy to maintain vehicles and the coupe adds a bit of sporty-ness and good looks to a reliable vehicle.
