Vehicle Detail
1963 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside Bought as fresh build at 2006 NHRA Hot Rod Reunion. 66K Actual title at purchase, have added 5K since. Stack of receipts, over $25K invested. Highlights: • 350 SBC/350 Turbo; power steering • AFCO aluminum radiator w/fans • One-off dash fabrication for Vintage Air • Front discs; 2 1/2” drop spindles; drop coils (1” front/5” rear); track bar • 17” Billet Specialties on Kuhmo rubber • New bezels; wipers; mirrors; emblems; handles; cranks; sill plates; LED taillights; billet license frames • New bumpers; grill (‘64); oak floor w/stainless strips; tailgate; tailgate chains • Original seat stitched in faux ostrich • Full-length exhaust w/Flowmaster knockoffs • Pioneer Supertuner CD/box speakers • 3 sets period-correct lap belts • Auto Meter temp and fuel gauges You should know: • Truck has been driven so there is a chip or two • Factory 3:73 12-bolt means stiff highway rpms but wheel is rock steady • Speedo jumps some; soft 1-2 shift except if driven aggressive • Cab interior is shade off (not obvious, discovered when dash was sprayed) • Dash is slick except for spots on top near corners • Inside doors (mostly driver) marked from seat belts retracting • Pimple on driver cowl (see photo) has looked same for years • Cab back and bed suffered paint damage (see photos) when cover bows collapsed • Turn signals flash exterior but not on dash (left disconnected when gauges were wired) Good stuff: • Looks right, sits right, drives right • Nice paint, gaps and panel fit -- solid truck, has looked this straight for 5+ years Clear VA title in hand, inspections are encouraged and welcome!
