Vehicle Detail

Some history about the R/T model: Dodge's R/T performance history dates back to the late 1960s. Over the year's many different Dodge models offered an R/T edition. The FIRST R/T which stands for "Road and Track" was a Hi-performance version of the 1967 Dodge Coronet. The Coronet R/T was offered in both hardtop and convertible form. The R/T featured a unique grill and nonfunctional air scoops on the hood. R/T Badges were added to the front grill, sides behind the simulated air vents and to the rear. Inside featured bucket seats and console as standard equipment. Also standard on the Coronet R/T was a new 440 cid v-8 engine with a four barrel Carter AFB carb. The 440magnum engine was rated at 375 bhp. A 727 TorqueFlite automatic was standard with a four-speed manual optional. Also standard on the Coronet R/T was 7.75x14 red line tires, heavy-duty shocks, heavy-duty torsion bars, heavy-duty leafsprings, heavy-duty brakes and a heavy-duty front sway bar. 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Production: 10,181. Hemi: 238 Up for auction is an super clean 1967 Coronet R/T. This R/T is one of the is just a perfect example of a un-restored 2+ car. Not molested in any way. This car has been cared for all it's life and it shows everywhere. Ordered with factory AC, which works well and was a rare option for a muscle car. Converted to R134 for easy servicing. The original powerful 440 is simply a pleasure and this car drives perfectly! The is a road hungry mopar, cruises beautifully at 80 all day long. All mechanical systems work as they should. You can drive this car anywhere. It is running a Edelbrock 750 cfm electronic choke carb for ease of use. The original carter carb is rebuilt and comes along with it. Also has upgraded electronic ignition. I prefer to get in turn the key and enjoy. Rust free exceptionally solid car originally from South Carolina. Wears the original factory undercoating. This car has had a older factory correct re-paint which is in excellent shape. The paint a 8.5 out of 10. This car is meant to be enjoyed and yes driven, like all should be. The interior is in excellent condition and still wears the original carpet and headliner. Seats were recovered correctly at some point in it's life. All chrome, trim an d glass is excellent. One small ding in the trunk molding. New coker red-lines. Has been inspected by a professional mechanic and all brakes, belts, hoses, electrical charging systems, cooling system are as they should be. All gauges and original AM radio work as they should. Please remember this car is over 40 years old and most items are original to the car as it was built. It is not a 100 point show car. If you are looking for a perfect rotisserie restoration you are welcome to find that and pay accordingly for it. This car has been simply driven, garaged all its life and truly taken care of by all folks who ever has owned it. Makes it a nice historical vehicle. The other cool things the R/T comes with: Original Certicard Galen Govier decoding report California title shows mileage as actual as of 1/14/2008 @26853 Copy of factory data card Original brochure Correctly date coded wires and hoses (I started to return everything back to factory spec) for show purposes. It did take a trophy for 66-67 B Body original at the Mopar spring fling. The only item that currently needs attention is a the heater box. It has a leak and is bypassed at the moment. Replacement re-pop core is about 250.00. For buy it now I will be happy to fix this prior to shipping. This car will sell itself. Please feel free to inspect the car here in Southern CA.
