1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Up for Auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. We have owned this Jeep since 2009. This Jeep has the in-line 4.0 6cly engine and automatic transmission with shift on the fly 4x4. We bought this Jeep with 158,000 and my wife has driven it daily and with no issues. The current mileage is 178,405. This Jeep has been a great vehicle for us, however we have purchased a newer vehicle and have decided to sell this Jeep. The engine runs strong with no mechanical issues,starts up and runs great, NO engine oil consumption or oil burn. The transmission shifts smoothly with no issues. The 4x4 engages as it should and works great. This Jeep gets around 18/20 mpg hwy. Since we have owned this Jeep below are the items that I have replaced. New Jeep Rims (4) - Summer 2009 Rebuilt A/C Compressor - Summer 2009 New Coolant / Temp Sensor - Summer 2009 Rear Lift Gate Shocks - Spring 2010 New Front Brakes and Rotors - Summer 2010 New Windshield - Summer 2010 New R/F wheel bearing - Winter 2010 New Serpentine Belt - Winter 2010 New Tires (4) - Winter 2010 For the age of this Jeep it is in extremely good condition. It is by NO means brand new, but would make an excellent daily driver, college car or a back up vehicle. Power Windows Power Locks w/ Key Fob Power Mirrors AM/FM CD Factory Power Driver Seat The body is in great shape except for three spots. The right rear bumper area was backed into at a parking lot and buckled the molding a little. And the right front fender was also backed into last year and has a little fender damage. The right rear door has a piece that was covered with a rust protector I assume becasue the paint began to flake a little but was done before we purchased the vehicle. And the front drivers side corner marker lamp has a small chip crack. The paint looks very nice for its age the clear coat is clear and has a great shine yet. There are scratches and such that one would expect for a car of its age. This Jeep may need new shocks eventually but nothing that effects the drivabilty currently. The Interior is very clean as well. The carpet looks good and the seats have no rips or tears and are not all stained up. The rear door inside covers had a factory leather looking covering that was missing when we bought the Jeep. But they can be seen in the pictures. I have tried to describe this Jeep the best I can. However I am only human and may have forgetten something, so PLEASE ask questions as I will try to answer them accordingly. I have been selling vehicles on Ebay for over 5 years and have yet to have an unhappy buyer. I try to describe my vehicles the best I can. I wouldn't want someone to sell me a lemon.
