Vehicle Detail

Very nice looking car. 273 V8, 2 bbl carb with a column shifted automatic. The car drives well. Restored by my father in the late 1970s, early1980s. 41,584 miles since restoration. During the restoration, the original 273 was replaced with a re-built 273. The transmission is original. There is a small spot of surface rust on the passenger side rear quarter panel, and some surface rust in the trunk. Other than that, the body is in good condition. The top is in good shape and the convertible top motor works well. Replaced the drivers side quater panel and the front header panel after wife hit the car in the driveway. The seats need to be re-upholtsered. The exhaust could also use an update. I installed, Center Line rims, the original rims also go with the car. Selling because my oldest child starts college next year, and it is apparent that I will never do the restoration that I had always wanted to do. The last time I had the car in for maintanence, the mechanic told me there is a transmission leak in a seal around where the transmission connects to the engine (sorry I can't be more technical). I have contacted the high bidder and if this is an issue with them, I will cancel the auction and re-list with the correct disclosure. I'm sorry for this oversight. That was a stupid mistake on my part.
