Only rode it about 1000 miles! I never intended to keep it through the winter. It is now for sale to a lucky new owner. This is an opportunity to own a nice bike for a fair price. Particulars- 49500 miles. Maintained by BMW dealer. Plenty of Documentation, including Shop Manual. Spline Lube good for another 20,000 miles. (BMW improved lube used 20,000 miles ago, lasts for 40,000 miles.) Tires are good, with at least another season, maybe two, of riding. Battery holds a good charge, and starts the bike right up every time. All gauges work, including the low fuel level indicators. Seat is a Corbin, in near perfect condition. Very comfortable. Tank bag is genuine BMW in very nice condition. Hard bags have some scrapes from the years, but are quite presentable. They are removable. Options are slightly raised bars for optimal comfort and performance, heated grips, and stainless lines. Exhaust is original, and has heat shield removed to reduce vibration. No holes or leaks. Fresh oil change with Castrol GTX 20w-50 motor oil. New BMW filter. Bike runs very well, and has been maintained regularly over the years by qualified mechanics. Folder of receipts, documentation, and some spare parts go with bike. This RS really turns heads, young and old. You can confidently ride this bike home. All Reasonable Offers will be considered.
