For sale is a 1968 Fastback C code w/289 2V automatic. Blue with black interior. A car for those that enjoy getting their hands dirty, and the satisfaction of knowing the quality work was done themselves. This car has been parked or towed to new parking spots since 1988. 18 years of that was garaged. This has a non-fold-down rear seat. Looks like the front wheel cylinders leaked and the drums have rusted to the shoes. Last time I moved it, just had to break them loose. The rear drum brakes are fine as far as I know. Pulled the plugs and the engine turns easily by hand, but haven't started it. I had put some lightweight oil in the cylinders years ago, so wasn't worried about the rings. Driveshaft was removed for towing and is still in trunk. Needs rear quarter panels replaced. The front fenders and drivers door are dented. Usual rust around the engine bay. All glass and mirrors are intact, rear view is with the car but needs to be replaced on the windshield. Will require payment & pickup within 1 week of end of auction.
