03/97 BMW 840 CI. One of the last 840s produced. One of the few alusil 4.4 liter engine cars with the sport transmission and lower ratio rear gears, Silver exterior and light grey two tone interior. Brembo four piston brakes, 151000 miles, cold a/c and fully working climate control, the control head was replaced shortly before I bought the car as well as the waterpump,radiator,valley pan or block cover and many or all of the coolant hoses. All of this work was done at a BMW facility in los angeles. I have lots of cars and most of them are BMW streetcars. I bought this from the original owner and intended it to be my daily driver. Silver is very rare and the color I wanted. Upon purchasing I had the car gone through by the DINAN dealer from stem to stern. I asked for any items to be addressed that needed work or replacement. Paint is clean and shiny but it is original. It has nicks and scratches and normal spots . Everyone says it looks great and the pictures show it. the worst spot is in one of the pictures. There are no dings at all. NO Rust, no accidents, etc. i love it but all my garages are more than full and I just got a new M5. I took all the pictures yeaterday. some in the front of the house, some in back by the other garage and a couple at the golf club ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE LESS THAN 5000 mils old and most are under warranty 1. New transmission 2, Bilstiens on all four corners and he struts mounts 3. Most or all of the front suspension and steering 4, most or all of the rear suspension 5. New Tires With warranties from Discount tire 6. A very nice set of used BMW brand Alpina style wheels staggered 17 inch 7. All new drilled and slotted nickel plated rotors and ceramic fusion pads 8. custom stainless steel braided brake lines 9. new front complete seat re-uphoster. leather purchased from the original supplier (Rolls Royce) They are perfect 10. Sony CD player and custom Ipod dock . Hard wired for valentine one. The dock and hard wire stay but of couse the ipod and detector are not included 11. the entire front nose all three pieces Upper,lower and the lower lip. the previous owner had obviously tapped the blocks in parking spaces more than once. These are all new dealer units 12. new from the dealer on board computer 13. New windsheild purchased at the BMW dealer ( has been on the car one week) 14. lots of new trim pieces on the interior 15. Power steering pump and all the high pressure hoses 16. lots of seals and gaskets, valve covers,rear main ,etc 17. I am sure there is more. this car is tight and. I put 10 k or more into it after purchase price.
