No Reserve Auction on this 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Extended Cab 4X4 with Custom Dual Exhaust. {I am 2nd Owner} Originally a S.E Texas truck until it was driven up here in 2007/parked in 2009}it rides nice and the engine purrs like a Big Cat! Loaded with Custom Features,Chrome, Add-on's.136K Miles.5.9 Liter V-8,Auto, 4-Wheel Drive works Great! The truck was stolen from the Previous owner {A longtime family friend} and recovered in 24 hours back in about 2005 or so. I was with the owner inside a eatery when it happened. He has been a friend for years before I bought the truck. The driver door was compromised by them sticking something through door in a small hole they punched behind the key entry lock. Also they broke the switch and the steering wheel lock when they did this and somehow got around the Viper Alarm too. I have always used a steering wheel lock and a big chrome brake pedal locking device to secure the vehicle when parked. During hurricane RITA in S.E Texas I was also with the previous owner as we both evacuated the coast up to about as far as traffic and gasoline would allow us to Woodville,Texas where we both waited out the storm as it passed through.The truck encountered no damage at all during this storm and was driven back to Port Arthur the day after the storm passed without incident. The truck has never taken in water damage at all. Then in about 2006 or so the Airbags were deployed when front end bottomed out in an off road incident done by the Previous owner. There are small areas under front fenders where the wheels bottomed out that caused some slight damage that will be pictures upclose. {It's not very noticible}Both front wheels and tires were replaced after that Incident. Both Airbags deployed and the Top Dashboard will need Replacement. Also the Steering wheel bag is deployed.The transmission Linkage was thrown out of sync during the incident which placed the drive indicators all off the the left by one space.[Drive if now #2 /#2 is now #1 Ect.} This has made the transmission shifting unreliable and it shifts normally sometimes but most of the time hangs up in gears.But no slipping at all. All fluid and filters have been changes on the transmission and engine. Engine runs like new.The cold temp sensor needs replacement.{Engine runs perfect but will only start cold or warm,Once engine warms to operating temp it won't start until it goes colder again.Front Rotors and pads needs replacement.As you can see in the photo's this truck is an outstanding specimen and more than worthy off the expense to get her back up to par.It has been a project of mine on the back burner for a few years but I have now decided to sell it "AS IS" I purchased the Truck just as it is with the intention of bring it back to full glory one day. Now my loss is your gain.I will add in Interior Photos after I remove my personal items stored inside. Interior is very nice as the original owner never ate inside or smoked. I drove it up from Texas in 2007 and stopped driving it about 2 years ago only periodically driving it around the block every now and then and warming the engine about once a month. (I am 2nd owner}with Clear title. Please ask all questions as early as possible.Also keep checking back for the extra pictures I will be adding of the excellent Interior and other areas of Interest.All in All it is a One-of-A-Kind Custom Truck that I am sure someone will want to have a restore.
