Vehicle Detail
1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ in nice condition! Looks and runs great! It is currently inpected until the end of the month. I was told last year at inspection time that it will need fender flares because the tires stick out past the body.(I'm not sure if your state has that law or not.) The only problem is that second gear grinds a little if you are not careful. It has been like that for years. Once you know how to shift it it won't grind...very simple, hold the clutch in for an extra split second and pull it into gear gently. It is the 2nd gear synchronizer that is going bad. I will throw in a repair manual if you want to attempt to repair it or know someone who can.The synchro's are very inexpensive. I will be happy to take you on a drive and show you how to drive it without grinding it.Jeeps with bad synchros have been known to go over 120000 miles like that. I drive this Jeep all of the time and wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country today. It has been a great jeep and has been very reliable. Oil has been changed regularly with high mileage synthetic blend. It leaks a little oil...nothing major. Just a few drips where I keep it parked. The oil level never gets low or anything like that. The cd player has a mind of it's own(plays SOME of the cd's). Tires are like new. Top is still decent. A few snaps missing but works fine. Heater works FANTASTIC! Feel free to make me an offer. Once it goes over $2000 I will no longer stop the auction to sell it outright. Everything works and I do not know of anything else it will take for inspection. That being said, this is an old vehicle and is sold as-is. ALL older vehicles WILL require work at some point. All I can tell you is that it has always passed inspection for me. It looks great and runs great. The frame and underbody are also in decent shape with minimal, minor rust. The drivers side floorboard was replaced with aluminum and a few small rust spots have been fixed(nothing major) The interior is black and in nice condition. The front seats are torn up but I have seat covers on them. Also has a hitch reciever with wiring. All in all a nice old Jeep with average wear and tear.A few dents and dings. Fly in and drive it home anywhere! It is a 4 cyl. 2.5 ltr. 5 speed with 167,000 miles. I will hold the winning bidder responsible for payment.A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of auction end.Sorry, NO SHIPPING! On Nov-15-11 at 16:10:33 PST, seller added the following information: I just wanted to answer some questions.... The reason that I do not get it inspected is that I do not want to spend money on Fender Flares just for inspection, when it could very well sell to another state that doesn't require them or need a Pa inspection. Also, The synchro problem is not something that needs to be done right now. As I said I've been driving it like that for years and it never seems to get any worse. As long as you are careful and do not grind the gears it will not get any worse. I try to take very good care of my vehicles and think that you will be very happy once you win and see this Jeep. Hope that clears things up. Any more questions please ask. Good luck and Happy Jeep-ing!
