1948 International Truck You are bidding on a 1948 International Pick-up. It has original cab, which was a military vehicle, and has the original rear fenders as well. As for the bed it was custom fabricated in a local machine shop. This truck is a driver, it runs good. It is powered by a 350 Cheverlet engine out of a mid to late 80s Truck with 4 barrel carb, it has a turbo 350 automatic transmisson with shift on the floor. The truck is sitting on an mid to late 80's S-10 Chassis. Therefore it comes with all the amenities, such as power brakes, disc in front, power steering as well. It has a new aluminum radiator. The rear end has 411 gears so yes it will do a burnout. It has pretty new meats all the way around, the truck does come with a set of wheels for the front that matches the the rear. I only painted the rear just so it wouldn't rust completely out. As for the glass the side and rear glass are gone completely. This is an awesome truck for the money and makes an excellent RAT ROD. This truck is titled as an 2009 project builder. I insure it as a 1948 International (insurance is cheap). What you see in the pics is what you get. Keep in mind when bidding on this truck if you are the winning bidder, yes this truck will drive cross country, but with 411 gears its alot of gas and probably 65 mph tops! So you might want to bring a trailer. I also have the truck forsale locally and may remove at anytime. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and pick-up. This truck is a 1946 and is title as a 1946 but as a 2009 rebuilder It was my mistake I am listing it for a friend. All these trucks are pretty much the same from the mid to late 40's anyways. It does have some guages Temp, Oil, Fuel which all work. The speedometer is out of a 55 Desota but is not currently hooked up. All lights work. The carburetor is a 4 barrel thermaquad. The fuel tank that the truck is using is the one mounted to the S-10 Chassis from the factory so all up to date equipment.
