Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is an extremely rare (I know that term is overused but in this case true) 1955 Triumph Tiger (Mountain) Cub T20 200cc Trials bike with matching numbers (Frame T12863 and Motor T20 12863) with the PLUNGER frame. This bike was built to ride in the AHRMA rigid class and even though it is a beautiful custom, no tabs or mounts were removed and the bike can be put back to bone stock. The motor starts right up and idles pefectly. Anything that needed replaced internally, electrically, or otherwise, was replaced or rebuilt. The tank, hubs, and fenders have been professionally painted and they are gorgeous. The spokes and rims are polished and shiney. The frame has been chromed for ease of clean up and maintenance. You can see yourself in the tastefully polished cases. The forks and rear plunger suspension have been rebuilt. Any thing that was chrome has been re-chromed. The tires are a new 21" Dunlop K750 in front and a 19" K70 in the back. The bike starts and runs off the capacitor and has no battery, just as it was originally sold. The carb is the stock Amal from Birmingham England. The controls, brakes, chain and sprockets are new. The current peg location allows for modern trials pegs and was necessary to ride properly. Again, the stock peg mounts and all original mounting brackets are intact. It does have two chipped fin near the left side head bolts, which is very common and the head can be easily replaced or repaired. Otherwise, the bike is as perfect as humanly possible. The bike is highly competive in the AHRMA rigid class and a joy to ride. It even looks better in person than the pictures. Interested in other motorbikes too, so feel free to call or email me with any questions. It is presently sold with a bill of sale only but the prior owner is securing a clean State of Utah title and that process is almost completed. If I get it, I will certainly send that overnight mail to the new owner. Please check my feedback and buy with confidence. Well over $7,000 spent on this awesome machine. It's a piece of rolling art. The Mountain Cub did not come out until 64 I believe. This is a serial numbers matching bike.
