2000 Mitsubishi Montero 4x4 - Endeavor Package My name is David Vanaman. I am a Pennsylvania used car dealer and I offer vehicles to the public at wholesale prices on eBay. The vehicles I sell on eBay are mostly trade-ins from local dealerships and other dealers in the York, PA area. I get these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced, detailed, or prettied up for retail sale. In order for me to offer them to you on no-reserve auction pricing, I cannot spend money for these services. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. Up for auction is a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Endeavor. This full size SUV has a V6 engine, automatic transmission with over drive, and four wheel drive. It comes equipped with the larger, more powerful Mitsubishi 3.5L 24 valve V6 engine which runs smoothly. The 4 speed overdrive transmission shifts smoothly and without hunting. The Active Trac 4WD (aka Super Select) allows for on the move shifting between rear wheel drive and four wheel drive mode at speeds up to 60 mph. It has low range and center diff lock modes for serious off road or severe weather conditions. All the mechanical systems are in proper working order and perform as they should for a vehicle of this age and mileage. The truck is equipped with ABS. This Montero has the Endeavor package. It was the top of the line package for the 2000 Montero and includes such luxury options as leather seats, Infinity CD stereo, heated & power seats, power sunroof, wood trim, and power windows, locks, & mirrors. This $3,600 options package brought the price of this SUV to just under $35,500 when it was new in 2000. The exterior of the truck has two tone paint. The majority color is "Cambridge Read Pearl" with the lower accent section painted silver with matching silver panels on the bumpers. The paint is in average condition for the age and mileage. It looks very good from a few feet away, but upon close inspection, you can see the sort of small chips and blemishes that are to be expected. There is a small dent over the passenger front wheel (see pics). The galvanized steel body panels do not show any rust damage in wheel wells or rocker panels. This truck has aluminum alloy wheels with a matching alloy full size spare mounted on the rear. The rear tires are BF Goodrich and have very deep tread, the fronts are Uniroyal tires with about half tread, and the spare is a brand new full size tire (not a tiny donut spare!). There is a Yakima roof rack installed on the truck with adjustable crossbars. The interior of this Montero is in above average condition for the age and mileage. The tan leather seats are supple and have good cushioning. The front seats are heated and show wear, but are not torn. The 2nd row reclining seats with flip down cup holders are in excellent condition. This Mitsubishi is equipped with the optional fold and stow 3rd row seats. These seats fold and flip to the side when not in use and do not significantly reduce the rear cargo space. With all of the seats down, you can seat 7 people or with the rear seats stowed and the 2nd row folded forward, you can fit large and bulky items. The carpets have some discoloration and staining. The power windows, locks, and mirrors work properly as does the huge center power sunroof. The optional center gauge cluster includes compass, outside temp, oil pressure, and voltometer. The 8 speaker Infinity sound system with CD player still sounds good. The keyless remote entry and security alarm functions properly. There is an "SRS" failure light on the dashboard. There are no check engine or other warning lights. This Montero has the Endeavor package. It was the top of the line package for the 2000 Montero and includes such luxury options as leather seats, Infinity CD stereo, heated & power seats, power sunroof, wood trim, and power windows, locks, & mirrors. A $100 deposit via PayPal must be made within 24 hours (or other arrangements approved within 24 hours). Final payments cannot be made via PayPal or credit card. Any check or money order must be cleared by the bank before the vehicle is released. Vehicles must be picked up within 2 weeks of end of auction. The state of Pennsylvania will issue 30 temporary tags to residents of other states to transport the vehicle.
