Here is a very solid 1932 Ford Fordor Sedan.It was built and is owned by Rich Willett,a well known known east coast hot rodder,and owner of Willett Coachworks of Malden Ma. This car was put together over 20 years ago with all of the "right stuff" and has a ton of old time tradition built into it. (at that time it was not repainted,but left with what paint was on it) It consists of an original 1932 frame that has been boxed and a 1963 Corvette IFS rear installed. Front end has an original Mor-Drop I beam axle with split hairpins. Brakes and spindles are 40 Ford and work fine , steering box is an F-1 unit,front wheels are 48 Merc. The engine is a stock 59AB flathead that starts easily and runs smoothly and is connected to a 39 Ford 3 speed transmission. The body is rock solid as the pictures show and is all steel with the exception of 4 older Wescott glass fenders. All doors close nicely. The only rust through is the bottom right corner of the drivers door on the skin.Other than that,the body is super..Grill shell and insert are originals and headlights are BLC 682J's with markers lamps added. The interior needs work as the pictures show, dash is nice and all gauges work (no speedometer though) and a heater has been installed but needs to be finished. Top and wood pieces are all new as shown.,glass is all very good,wiper and all lights work .( system converted to 12V).This car would be an easy project to take on ,as it is currently driveable and looks great.
