First and Foremost, YES…this is an ALL-STEEL JEEP! The Tub, The Hood, The Tailgate…ALL STEEL! This Jeep was done by a father and son approximately 5 years…so YES…it looks good…but NO…it does NOT look great! They did many things very good…and some only to the best of their armature ability! I would personally call this a 10-15 Footer! From 10 or 15 feet it looks great, but up close you will find many flaws! Although…as many in the Jeep nation would say…CJ7’s look best on the trail....and that would be where such a Jeep would feel most “At Home”. The previous owners built this Jeep to be a fun weekend toy that could take out and have some fun with, not something they would take to the car shows. The paint was redone (again – armature – not professionally) 5 years ago. There are some bubbles starting in the normal spots you will find in a CJ7, but overall it still shows pretty well. The floors have a couple patch repairs over some soft spots, but the frame shows very well! There are many upgrades, that definitely are NOT cheap that have been added to this trail rig including a BDS 4-Inch Suspension Lift, Smitty Built Front Bumper, Smitty Built Winch, Custom Aluminum Wheels, 33-Inch “SUPER SWAMPER” tires, KC Spot Lights, Smitty Built Nerf Bars, Tube Rear Bumper, and Factory Wheel Flares! Also…keep in mind that this CJ7 comes with a Factory HardTop and Factory Hard-Doors….something you won’t find on all CJ’s out there! Inside, you will there some nice improvements that have been made including recovered front and rear seats, newer carpet, am/fm cassette, and Jensen speakers! They also upgraded the Roll Bar with a “Family Style” YJ Roll Bar that comes with the front windshield connectors! Under the hood of this CJ is the original 6-Cylinder Engine which is backed with by an automatic transmission. According the previous owner, they had the motor rebuilt approximately 3 years and he guessed there was less than a 1,000 miles put on it since. The engine does start easy and idles well. There is a slight exhaust leak, probably so slight that most people would just leave it. For you TRUE “Off-Roaders” this CJ7 does have a B&M Shifter with the TWIN-STICK Setup for 4-WHEEL-DRIVE, and Solid Welded DANA Front & Rear Differentials!
