I am selling my wife's 1971 Cadillac Eldorado convertible in excellent condition. This big boy was King of the Road in 1971 and still is today; riding in this is like a butter smooth ride with incredible pickup, thanks to the original 500 cubic inch American V-8. The car is painted in a very glossy burgundy red metallic with a white leather interior. NO rust . . . NO paint bubbling . . . NO paint cracking . . . NO dents . . . razor sharp sides. The car was completely professionally repainted in the correct color in 2010 at great expense and includes the door jambs and new weatherstriping. All original numbers matching beauty, and all electronics work (power windows, power door locks, directionals, headlights, tail lights, cruise control, AC/heat, rear air suspension, power convertible top, trunk light, even the original radio/8 track player - comes with 4 Frank Sinatra 8 tracks!). There are no disappointments with this car. The King of the Road rides powerfully and smoothly, transmission shifts through all gears including reverse perfectly. Trunk is immaculate and finished in the correct spatter color. The engine compartment has been re-sprayed in the correct flat black paint and is immaculate. The underside of the frame is excellent, as is the exhaust system. The car even has the original jack and front rubber Cadillac floor mat. Brand new carpet and side panels. All parts are here including the original cigarette lighters, side emblems, etc. There is even the original Cadillac key! The mileage is deemed accurate as verified by actual mileage on title. Recent service (all June-August this year) was new motor oil changed and motor oil filter; transmission fluid drained and refilled; new platinum spark plugs and spark plug wires; new air filter; new door weatherstripping. The Caddy comes with a brand new white convertible top and new rear glass (not plastic) in boxes ready to install. This alone is worth $1600. The convertible top on it now needs a new rear window, which was the original plastic, but the top is fine as it is. There is even a parade boot for the convertible top that will come with the car. Tires have about 50% life left; original Cadillac wheelcovers are on the car. Driver's side sun visor is loose and should be replaced to make the car perfect. Spare tire included as well. The car is ready to go - clean title, no issues. It is a meticulously clean example of what class and style was - when Cadillac was King. Any inspections on the car are welcome, but must be done before the auction ends. Shipping is the responsibility and at the expense of the buyer, but I will gladly help with meeting the shipper and other arrangements to help you out.
