You are bidding on a 1973 BMW R75/5 750cc 'Airhead'. The bike is in very good running condition and can be driven daily. It has both a current registration and safety inspection, and both are valid until July, 2012. Realistically you could drive it home. The motor is quiet with out any hint of cam chain noise. It had a recent tune-up. The carbs were also overhauled, adjusted, and synchronized. It purrs. The bike does not consume any oil. There is some damage including dings on both mufflers, the chrome headlight ring has some road rash, and the valve covers have been scraped and consequently repaired with very little visible damage left.
