This AMX was the subject of a frame on restoration that was completed in 2005. The body was solid and the car was repainted in the correct Hunter Green Metallic and the interior was redone in the correct Saddle vinyl. The interior is in excellent condition including the headliner, door panels and wood trim and looks like new. The engine is the correct 390ci 4-barrel V-8 that produces 315hp. 1 of 1,200 with an automatic transmission and factory air conditioning, converted to R-134. The air conditioner blows cold. It has not been driven in rain since the previous owner purchased it in 2007. The other options and features include power steering, power brakes, AMX floor mats, AM/FM radio, remote mirror, factory clock and factory tachometer. It has 77,310 miles, which we believe are actual miles. It has almost brand new BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. It comes with the original owner’s manual and the VIN and trim tag both indicate that this AMX is correct. It runs and drives exceptionally well and does not leak any fluids or smoke. The car starts on the first try without hesitation. The paint has some minor flaws, but is very presentable. The engine and transmission work properly and it is a blast to drive.
