I really hate to do this, but I'm in need of a daily driver and cannot afford at the moment to have an extra car. I want this to find a home where someone can give it more attention and appreciate it as I cannot. This is a 1976 280 Z. Bought this for $1800 7 years ago, bought new tires for about $400, and have put about $900 in maintenance/mechanic. Unfortunately, this car is currently not running. The car would start choking out, wasn't sure if it was getting too much fuel or not enough fuel at times. I have had new fuel injectors, fuel filter, some fuel line, spark plugs, tank checked for rust and sediment, etc. Almost everything in the fuel system has been replaced except the fuel pump, which may be the issue, but the mechanic said it looked in good condition (though he didn't actually check the internals). I also had to have the ignition re-keyed, but after it stop running properly that went out as well again, so I couldn't turn the key. I imagine the battery is dead as well. The body has gotten a bit of surface rust while sitting and has other areas, as pictured. But overall for a Datsun Z it's not bad. The floor pans were replaced before I bought it. Interior is half bare and very worn, as pictured. I put new tires on as soon as I bought it, but passenger front keeps losing air, from sitting. When it was running, it ran great.
